Leading NFT Platform Opensea relaunched V1 CRYPTOPUNKS

DCMA = Don’t CꝊ¢₭block Muh Art!

V1 CryptoPunks have had a rocky start from the original failed launch by Larva Labs. Thankfully crypto is full of open-sourced code and we have developers who love to fix things!

The original CryptoPunks contract had a marketplace bug that led to punks getting stolen. The new wrapper now makes your CryptoPunk safe and tradeable on NFT Platforms such as OpenSea – LooksRare – Rarible.

Once the new wrapper came out, V1 CryptoPunks started to gain the attention of many Crypto OGs and a new wave of newbie NFTers, Larva Labs took action and sent a DCMA letter to Opensea which made Opensea remove V1 CryptoPunks from their platform. Fast forward to March Yuga Labs purchases the rights to CryptoPunks and has no plans of pursuing any DCMA that was started by Larva Labs. Thanks to the chads over at Yuga Labs buying the rights to CryptoPunks, Opensea was able to relaunch the V1 CryptoPunks marketplace.
