Bored Ape Yacht Club Launches Highly-Anticipated ApeCoin ($APE)
These Apes might have pulled off one of the most flawless token launches on Ethereum that will transcend the NFT + DeFi space and dive into mainstream crypto. The list of strategic partners included some of the biggest names in crypto including CoinBase, Binance, CoinMarketCap, Kraken, FTX, and Voyager Investments. Each partner announced with proper branding in place their $APE support immediately after the first @apecoin Twitter thread around 5:30 pm ET. The amount of coordination and logistics to make this happen is extremely hard to pull off for one or two partners let alone 5+ of the biggest names in crypto.
The little black book of connections will rocket $APE past the moon. Some of the heavy-hitting name drops include Co-Founder of Reddit @alexisohanian, FTX’s Gaming Lead @amytongwu, Sound Ventures @maariabajwa, Animoca Brands Co-Founder @ysiu, and Horizen Labs President @Crypto_Counsel.
Yuga Labs plans included an allocation for Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, and Bored Ape Kennel Club NFT holders, as well as a DAO Treasury that will give new projects an opportunity to apply for funding/grants to further build out the $Ape ecosystem and optimistic charity plans that go towards the Jane Goodall Legacy Foundation.
